Turmeric Root – In order to metabolize and fulling extract and absorb the nutrients in turmeric, you need black pepper and coconut oil. If you don’t add these to the recipe, you’re not going to have the full benefit of turmeric. https://amzn.to/2npDQct
Slice the Ginger & Turmeric Root. Use the amount you intuitively feel is best for you! Personally, I use an abundance of both to create a stronger tea. You’ll begin to feel the amount best suited for you the more you make the tea.
Add the turmeric root, ginger, cloves, black pepper, and cinnamon sticks, to a pasta pot of water. Bring to a boil, then Simmer for 2 to 3 hours, adding water as it gets low. This is called infusing the Tea, which is the most efficacious method to extract the full strength of each ingredient and to serve as a medicinal concoction.
Cool down, then place in glass containers. Refrigerate after it cools.
Each time you heat a cup up add a teaspoon of coconut oil. This is an important step to help fully absorb the turmeric nutrients.
Relax & enjoy as you feel your body & mind warm.

CLOVE just like many other spices originating from Asia has a great history behind it. During the 13th and 14th centuries, cloves were transported all the way from Indonesia to China, India, Persia, Africa, and Europe. During this time, cloves had a very high price, and thus, wars for monopoly over clove production and distribution began. Clove is native to the Maluku Islands in Indonesia. Cloves are high in antioxidants, including eugenol and vitamin C, both of which can help reduce oxidative stress. The nutrients found in cloves include carbohydrates, protein, energy, and dietary fiber. Minerals in cloves include potassium, calcium, sodium, and magnesium. The vitamins found in them include vitamin E, folate, and niacin. They also contain phosphorus, iron, zinc, vitamin C, thiamin, riboflavin, and vitamin A and K.
