The philosophy of the program focuses on cultivating the virtues of discipline, respect, honor, dignity, loyalty, compassion, kindness, courage, awareness, etc. The founder of the program feels the martial art virtues are the pillars of the system and thereby pays acute attention to the cultivation of them. Youth Program
This program is for anyone who is new to kung fu to advanced level with the purpose of developing strong bodies, balanced minds and fearless hearts. The curriculum is built on personal development of mind, body, and spirit. It encompasses the tools focus, self discipline, respect, the ability to center and calm oneself, especially in the midst of conflict when we most need it, relationships, connection, strategic intelligence, self confidence, self-awareness, lastly and most importantly understanding our inherent nature.
We access these tools through utilization of fun, engaging activities rooted in Ving Tsun Kung Fu. While each class is designed with a specific purpose for the present study body, traditional past exercises include: Kung Fu obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, round-robin courses, playground games with a Kung Fu lens, gymnastics, learning numbers and Kung Fu phrases in Cantonese, and learning the basics of the beginner level weapons through more fun games and activities.
The benefits of the program go far beyond self defense, though this is a natural byproduct. The virtuous qualities of kindness, compassion, gratitude and being of service lead to profoundly enhancing our quality of life.
The true rewards of this education are shown through our personal development, however being acknowledged externally has importance. We offer an Advancement Ceremony at the close of the session in which students have the option of participating.

Youth Leadership Program
The Leadership-AIT (Assistant Instructor Trainee) Program is an invite-only Leader/Mentorship Program using the Kung Fu environment. The apprentices learn what it takes to be a leader/mentor by practicing and developing the skills of teaching by example, being a positive influence, learning how to motivate and inspire, how to serve and genuinely take care of one another, and by being an overall exemplary role model. They cultivate the ability of being aware and sensitive to each student’s specific needs, personality, and how they best learn, enabling the leadership student to serve and teach efficaciously. Knowing when to be soft and gentle, when to be more stern and when to exact discipline are skills the leadership student begin to possess.
Skills developed and embodied through the Leadership Program successfully translate and are greatly beneficial in every aspect of life, personally, professionally, as well as in all relationships, in society and with all mankind.
