3 Daily/Simple Tips to Contribute to Your Health

1. Add one extra glass of water         Incorporating just one extra glass of water into your day can do wonders for your health. You will feel fuller, more energized and less tired; improve your skin; enhance your ability to focus; and much more. It’s easy to forget to drink water throughout your day, and dehydration is often the source of your tiredness. Try drinking just one extra glass of water a day and I promise you will see a change in your vitality. To add flavor, just add lemon or other fruits! This can make drinking water more fun and a tasty activity.  https://www.nbcnews.com/better/diet-fitness/i-stayed-hydrated-two-weeks-it-changed-my-life-n731131   2. Put on your favorite song and dance! 5 extra minutes of movements per day!         Who doesn’t love taking time to listen to their favorite song? And while you’re at it, moving around could help you feel energized. If you’re feeling a lack of focus, this simple movement is a great idea and could even lift your mood. Furthermore, it’s a chance to let loose in your day, and take the time to not worry about what your stressed about, but just dance. If you’re not a fan of dancing, 5 minutes of movement itself will provide you with these same effects. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/28/well/move/work-walk-5-minutes-work.html   3. Say 3 nice things about yourself daily!         This tip as well as the previous tip are all about doing something enriching for self-cultivation. Positive affirmations increase self-awareness and confidence – there’s a reason this tip is often suggested in therapy sessions. If you’re feeling down, stressed, or just overwhelmed, it is a way to remind yourself of your worth and importance. Sometimes you are your own worst enemy, and saying (at least) 3 nice things about yourself per day can bring reassurance and calmness. You’ll be surprised by how much better you feel.
